How do we know certification works?

The best thing about working with Future Cert and LPI is that you become part of the global LPI community.  In fact, LPI says, on their community page:

“We are continually inspired by the creativity and passion our community of Linux and IT professionals contribute to the world of Linux and Open Source. We encourage you to share, connect, and engage with the community to keep on inspiring.”

And at the heart of our community is our commitment to ensuring that our certification delivers what employers and professionals need.  So how do we know that our certification works?

  • We test everything… a lot – Linux’s exams face a minor upgrade every 2.5 years and a major upgrade every 5 years. Academic and commercial institutes are then welcomed to offer their time to trial the BETA version of the exams before they’re introduced to the rest of the industry. To see this in action, have a look at this video of Manchester-based hosting company UKFast testing our LPIC1 exam for consistency, ambiguity and accuracy.  VIEW HERE.
  • We are committed to linking certification to industrial needs and development – You can view this video to understand more about why you should certify your Linux skills and the benefits this offers both you and employers. VIEW HERE.
  • We listen hard – It’s important to us that we’re actually talking to the people delivering training and getting involved in certification.  READ MORE HERE.
  • We’re really experienced – Best of all, Future Cert (representing LPI in UK & Ireland) has a long track record of doing what we do. And you don’t just have to take our word for it… READ OUR CASE STUDIES HERE.
